Aerial Photography

A drone can be a beautiful addition to any event. Nothing compares to that aerial grandeur. It’s just spectacular, and the results are breathtaking.

Our FAA licensed pilot has been operating traditional passenger aircraft for almost a decade and has logged hundreds of hours as Pilot In Command. In addition, our professional drone operator has been piloting aerial photography platforms (drones) for 3+ years.

If you’re considering a drone footage add-on, keep a few things in mind:

  • The drone’s specialty is in capturing the venue and the entire wedding party plus guests. Nobody wants an obnoxious buzzing noise when they’re trying to exchange vows. So the drone doesn’t operate during the actual ceremony.
  • Drones are a conversation piece! You don’t want anything taking away from the big day. For that reason, we recommend grabbing wedding party + guest footage between the wedding and reception when guests are milling around, and the wedding party has just returned from formal shoots.
  • Venue: Some venues don’t allow drone coverage. Check with your venue before booking. FYI, national parks never allow drones.
  • Safety: Drones can’t fly in bad weather, including wet conditions, high wind conditions, or anything the drone operator deems unsafe. If the drone operator makes that call, there’s no way around it. We can’t put you and your guests in harm’s way. We’ll refund the money you paid for the drone footage add-on.
